I know I should have posted this a long time ago and it should have been a back-to-school giveaway; however, as the elusive "they" always says, 'it's better late than never.' I don't know about you, but when the seasons change I go through changes myself. I'll perk up in the spring, I'm ready to hang out with the kids in the summer, and I'm always in the mood to settle down with a soft blanket and a cozy sweater for the long haul of winter. With every season there's a lot to look forward to. Now, here's something you can look forward to.
This time, instead of focusing so much on myself I want to do something nice for you. This giveaway did not turn out like I would have liked, but I'm going to say it's the thought that counts, right? Let's get started. One person will win every prize. The first item is something I'm sure you can use:
$50 gift card to Amazon.com
There's almost nothing better than to be able to buy something for yourself or you can get started on your Christmas shopping.
Something pretty from Twillypop:
Desert Sand: Khaki and Pink Twilly Stripe Ribbon Bracelet
I'm a little partial to Twillypop jewelry because everything is so beautiful and unique. It's been a couple of years since I discovered Twillypop and I just had to share her designs with you. Check out my review - back when my blog name was It's a woman's world.
Something tasty from Jarlsberg:
Jarlsberg has graciously provided a little swag for you:
Jarlsberg Cheese Swag and FREE product coupons
Four (4) coupons for FREE Jarlsberg cheese products
Four (4) cute Jarlsberg erasers
Jarlsberg cooler bag
I wrote about them a little while ago. Check it out. They recently celebrated 60 years in business and selling their popular and yummy cheeses.
Something healthy from Shazzy Fitness:
Shazzy Fitness A Time to Dance workout DVD
With a lot of activities moving indoors during the cooler months, this is a nice way to get your dance workout in with Christian music. They also have another video called In the Beginning and you can purchase a copy by clicking that link. (That's my affiliate link.) Also, if you want to get a copy for someone else as a gift this is a great time to purchase.
Visit Shazzy Fitness on their site and while you're there, follow them on social media.
Tasty treats from Slammers Snacks
A Case of Slammers (24 pieces!)
Slammers Snacks are sweet, all natural, superfood snacks. The snacks are designed to fuel kids with organic fruits and vegetables. They're not only a healthy alternative to sugar-laden treats that are especially available this time of year, and it's a great way to introduce children to mangoes, acai, yumberries, and pomegranates. They also serve as a great source of essential vitamins, and some flavors come packed with seven grams of protein.
Something cozy from Bumamo Soy Candles:
Two Bumamo Soy Candles
Another one of my favorite things is candles. I burn them year round, but they're especially nice in the Fall and Winter months when the days are darker for much longer. It's a nice way to cozy up with a book, your favorite blanket, and a hot drink. What a great way to reward yourself especially if you did the Shazzy Fitness workout, right?
A friend of mine makes these candles, but she's in the middle of a business hiatus so I don't have purchase info for you right now. However, as soon as she does I'm going to do a review and share everything with you.
Something sensible from author Leonie Blackwell:
Making Sense of the Insensible: The Ten Injustices of Our Life Lessons
We can't always be entertained by romance novels or our favorite murder/mystery, sometimes we have to buckle down and read something that will shed some light on life. Something that will enlighten and educate us. This is what you'll find in Making Sense of the Insensible.
From the back cover:
Have you read every self-development book on the market? Are you looking for a book to talk to you about the reality of the ups and downs of life? Leonie Blackwell explores ten injustices that can occur in our childhood, our adulthood or throughout our lives as recurring themes. They are often the events we spend a lifetime trying to make sense of. The lessons of injustice come to us in three ways-how we treat others, how others treat us and how we treat ourselves. Regardless of the source of the experience, the goal is to embark on the journey of transformation and empowerment. "The injustices serve as a terrific checklist for those who have done much inner work and may need to tweak here and there or as beautiful stepping stones to line up as you commence your journey of deep reflection. Either way they allow us to see ourselves less as victims and more as students of life with lessons we haven't learnt yet" -Allison Ross, workshop participantThere ya have it. What do you think? Okay so let's get to the entering part. Just use the Rafflecopter below and get started. Good luck!
