Bare your skin {product review}

Almost everyone who knows me knows that I’m a skincare product  addict. (Don’t worry, that link just goes to other posts I’ve written about skincare.) Even as a young teenager I made sure to keep my skin smooth, healthy and ash free. As I’ve gotten older – especially in my 40s – I’ve been even more careful to pay extra attention to my skin. Although I have very minimal wrinkles, I still pay close attention to them as well as products that help to reduce them. I’ve also noticed the beginning of some sagging in my skin so products that help to firm are a must. (Better to start early than not at all.) And, finally, with enlarged pores, extremely dry winter skin and overly oily summer skin I have to be sure I’m using the correct products.

image This time I had the opportunity to try bareMinerals Skincare line (I originally told you about the skincare product in March) that’s powered by their proprietary RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex*, which has been proven to deliver faster cell turnover and noticeably smaller pores. I won’t keep you in suspense about that claim because I found out almost immediately that it’s true. When I began using the Purifying Facial Cleanser, Purely Nourishing Moisturizer and Firming Eye Treatment I needed to make the transition from my winter-time skincare routine to something that would keep my skin from being too oily in the warmer weather. My skin felt tighter and seemed to balance out my oily t-zone.

Take a moment to leave a comment to tell me about your skincare routine, what products you use and whether you’ve tried the bareMinerals skincare products yet. Now  remember, you don’t have to take my word for how great Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Skincare is, visit the Bare Escentuals site for more information or to do a little shopping and like them on Facebook. ‘Cause if you ask me: A girl can never have too many great skincare products.

*RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex has three times the antioxidant capacity of blueberries

Disclosure: Thanks to MomFuse and @americanPOP, I received two Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Skincare products to facilitate my review, but that in no way influenced my opinions – those are 100 percent my own. No compensation was received. More information can be found in my complete disclosure policy.
