I’m a juice snob. I can admit it. I’m a bit obsessed with ensuring my children only drink 100 percent juice, soymilk or water, and I normally shun all other so-called beverages. I just recently started to relax a little by letting them have a little lemonade, iced tea or soda on a very occasional basis. It was more because they were able to have these forbidden liquids while away from home so I thought instead of depriving them at home and being the “bad guy” I would be a little more lenient.
Lucky for me, even with the leniency, my children still prefer water or 100 percent juice so I knew they would be game to try Welch’s Healthy Start 100% Juice. It has no added sugar, contains two times the antioxidant vitamin C of the leading orange juice and drinking 8 ounces of the juice gives you two servings of fruit.
When I received the coupons from BzzAgent to try the juice, I wanted to taste the blueberry pomegranate concord grape, but the store where I was shopping wasn’t carrying it. I ended getting the grape juice and I didn’t expect to see any difference in the taste than the regular 100 percent grape juice I normally purchase
I poured a cup of the juice and my taste buds went wild. The grape taste was so fresh and pure that it is actually the most refreshing juice I’ve tasted in a long time.
This juice has natural antioxidant power straight from grapes and it’s an excellent source of calcium. In addition to the grape and blueberry pomegranate concord grape flavors, it also comes in white grape orange mango. Available in the refrigerated aisle at grocery stores and Walmarts everywhere, Welch’s Healthy Start retails for $3.79 for a 59 ounce carton.
