When I first moved to Georgia I looked at an apartment where a lady was already living. She had it nicely decorated and I didn’t see any evidence of pests. When she moved out I went to the apartment again and looked around; when I looked in the corners of some of the rooms I thought I saw little bug carcasses, but I wasn’t sure.
A little bit after all of my things were moved in – “they” started to appear. Roaches. Yuck! Someone told me, “This is the south you’ll just have to deal with it.”
Heck no, I said, “Just ‘cause you live in the south doesn’t mean you have to have roaches.” I then proceeded to bug – no pun intended – the heck out of my landlord to get him to have an exterminator to come out. After several weeks he finally gave in and the problem was… extinguished.
Regardless of where you live, you should not have to put up with critters invading your space just contact your local Pest Control Services to take care of it for you. Whether you’re in need of residential or Commercial Pest Control there’s always a solution.
That one experience taught me to 1) be more investigative when looking at apartments and 2) always know the phone number of an exterminator.
