In the name of beauty

Over the past five years or so I've noticed the changes my body has gone through: The difficulty in losing weight, the change in my shape and size, the relaxation of muscle and skin as well as the little wrinkles, a few gray hairs and some other things I'll spare you from hearing about. With the changes came my acknowledgement of what's beautiful to me.

In my effort to "become more beautiful," I've upped my skincare regimens including creams, lotions, gels and scrubs. Some things I use are proven and long-used beauty treatments like applying Vaseline to my lips twice a day to maintain their softness and using vitamin E oil, cocoa butter or shea butter to soften areas of the skin that are prone to roughness. And some of the products I use are those I've discovered through product reviews like eyelash technologies, wrinkle reducers and skin tighteners. All in the name of beauty.

Honestly, I don't mind. I'm addicted to skincare products.

Although, thankfully, I seem to be on the slower end of the aging cycle I have gazed into the mirror and viewed what I think are reasons to get professional help with some... uh... imperfections, for lack of a better word. That's where somewhere like sono bello can come in. Sono Bello, a body contouring clinic, uses a new Micro Laser Liposuction and Body Sculpting technology that reportedly removes fat cells to enhance and shape areas of the body including the stomach, thighs, chin, back and hips.

The center has skilled and board certified physicians who offer procedures that tighten skin, minimize cellulite and diminish stretch marks. Just a quick stop in Sono Bello to get a little skin tightening is all that's needed to give individuals the body they've always wanted. As long as it's what you want - that's beautiful.

I believe that the beauty in a women comes with age and that you shouldn't do anything to alter it. Your appearance is something that you inherit from other relatives. I know that it's hard on ya'll to look as you once did, but that the beauty in life. Change is good and something that should be embraced.According to your pictures I see a very beautiful women.I understand where alot of you are coming from, but I just wish that ya'll would love who you are instead of who you want to be.Just a a perspective from a man of loves women.

I have noticed a number of changes as I age. Most hit after I passed 40. The advantage is that I don't care as much anymore.

I think you look beautiful!! Although I love trying new and fun products as well, and love all my different creams, etc. :)

I love skin products and will try just about anything. I'd even be willing to lipo on my butt and thighs if they offered it for free. Unfortunately the cost is more than I am willing to spend. It might make me look better but it is probably worth a week at a great place in the tropics and that would make me feel wonderful.

Oh my...It comes with the territory I guess...I'm not very happy with my changes as well thou I know I just have to face it and that it's not possible to go back in time!...If I could I'd certainly go through some plastic surgeries!

Aaaahhhhh, the body changes. They seem to come with lightning speed (to me anyway). As a matter of fact, the changes came so fast I could hardly keep up with them.

Thankfully, a few years ago I joined a friend at a luncheon with many other ladies our age and, a sea of beautiful gray hair greeted me. It was a sight to behold! I stopped "dying" my hair that very day. I started to embrace my gray hair and decided to wear it as a badge of honor. Then guess what?! It's graying very very slowly.

Go figure!
