This is a plaque that hangs in my kitchen.
"One day at a time..." That's been my motto for the last two years. Not too long ago, a woman I have high respect for asked me about my goal(?), plan(?) or expectations(?) for the next year. I can't think of the exact word she used and I was stumped for an answer. I just take one day at a time.I guess my life-long goal has been to create a comfortable living with my writing and skills for myself and my children. And, to be happy, of course.
After 15 years of being a writer, I can't give up now. I've worked as a reporter for a daily newspaper and as an editor and writer for monthly magazines. I've written web content and, of course, this blog.
Writing is my passion and I hope in the process I will not only succeed, but bring enlightenment, education, joy and entertainment to those who read my words.

You are right you can not quit!!! Hopefully the new year will see you more sucsessful (or more like have the world see your skill and realize how talented you are!) Its good to see you going into the new year positively! And I hope it is more sucsesful then either of us forsee.
Hi! Your goals are the same as mine (mom of 4 here too) One day at a time is the only way, but my mind never stops.
