Diane Birch

The older I get the more I open myself up to new experiences, new information and new sounds. I'm glad that I've been experimenting because when I had the opportunity to review Diane Birch's CD Bible Belt, I didn't hesitate.

I'm glad I reviewed the CD because I was extremely pleased. Her sound seems familiar to me yet new. It's comforting and spirited. And it's impressive.

Birch, who's just in her mid 20s, wrote each song. She has a strong and stunning voice that comes through in each song from beginning (Fire Escape) to end (Magic View). It's a CD you'll want to listen to over and over again because she's reminiscent of an old favorite with a new sound.
