Can't do it

It's been about three weeks or so since the younger children came home full time and I've realized there isn't a way to get it all done. The housework, the looking for a job, the taking people to work, the caring for children, looking for writing assignments, trying to make money, the errands, the paperwork, the doctor's appointments... I. have. not. found. a. way. to. do. it. all.

I can't say there's always something undone because everything is undone. The house is always a mess. I always have to clean up just to fix something to eat. It's the teen's job to clean the kitchen, but every meal whether she's here or not I have to clean up. Wipe the highchair. Clean off the toddler table. Clear the counter. Sweep up the floor.

Then I stop. Turn in a circle ... and can't remember what I was about to fix.

Walking through the living room is liking walking through a disaster zone. Where did all those toys come from? I know I just hid a bunch in the closet yesterday.

Breakfast is late because they wake up late. They wake up late because they go to bed late. They go to bed late because we don't get in until late because of the teen's job. It's a vicious cycle.

And don't get me to talking about the carpooling and the job. I went into the summer thinking I would have someone else to help get them back and forth to work. I mean, that's what the other teen says. Then I found out from the mom that that's not true. So they get her a car, she has her license and they finally get full coverage on it AND SHE CAN'T DRIVE IT TO WORK.

Sorry, I didn't mean to yell.

She can drive it to within 10 minutes of the job, but not all the way. WHAT THE FREAK KIND OF SENSE DOES THAT MAKE.

Uh, sorry.

I'm overwhelmed. I can't get anything done for leaving to take someone somewhere or taking care of someone when I'm home. I might as well stop saying I'm a WAHM.

Okay, so I should get up off my "lazy" butt to exercise. Let's see, after I finally fall into bed at about 2 a.m. after trying to get some work done I can get up at uh 4? 5?

Yea, that'll be great for my health. Three to four hours of sleep a night is the only way I can think of to get in some extra hours.

I'm so frustrated... I don't even know if this makes sense. Sorry for the rant. Gotta go fix lunch now that I remembered what it was I'm fixing.
