Plumbing scare!

Last night, right before I had to pick up my daughter's godfather from the airport, the toilet backed up when the washing machine drained. My initial reaction was anger because, if you remember, I just paid a plumber to come out and snake out the pipes because of a backup.

It was an unexpected expense after having the living room floor done and an absolute gigantic mess. Well, it seems like the problem has corrected itself -- hopefully. I've tried calling the plumber to let him know the problem, but his voicemail has been full. If he has to come back then he'll have to absorb the cost because it hasn't even been a full week.

Oh well, wish me luck!

  1. Awww...sorry to hear that. Funny I had a little incident with the guest bathroom this morning. My toddler dumped a whole bowl of my scented potpourri in that bathroom and so I was scared I might have a plumbing problem there. But thankfully, I was able to dig it all out with the help of my rubber gloves and lo and behold, it's okay again. :)

  2. That sucks! I hope it worked itself out and if no there is no way you should pay for the plumber to come again since he was suppose to have fixed it the first time. Good luck!

  4. That's awful. Definitely, the plumber
should not charge you again if he didn't do the job correctly the first time. I hope you get that headache taken care of soon.
