Bzz about the Philips Sonicare UV Sanitizer

Quite awhile ago I joined BzzAgent. It's a great site that matches consumers with new products and requests that those who receive the product samples to buzz about them. Well, we know most bloggers like to buzz about products so I thought I would get active again with BzzAgent to share some great stuff with you.

The product I recently received to test is Philips Sonicare UV Sanitizer. (I'd already received the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush sometime ago so it seemed only natural to sign up for the product.) I recently tested it on my brush head. The sanitizer is a very compact, quiet and stylist-looking contraption that takes only 10 minutes to rid the brush of bacteria. It was easy to set up and use... and after receiving it and reading about it I wondered about it's cleaning capacity.

This is what I discovered...

The average toothbrush head is crawling with bacteria. In just a single 10-minute cycle, the Sonicare UV Sanitizer eliminates up to 99 percent of selected bacteria and viruses like e-coli, s. mutans and h. simplex on up to two rechargeable brush heads. The UV Clean technology ensures that both the front and back of the brush head is sanitized. Plus, the UV Sanitizer safely stores brush heads until the next brushing.

The sanitizer works with the following Sonicare and Oral-B brush head models:

Sonicare Essence
Sonicare Elite
Sonicare FlexCare
Oral-B Triumph
Oral-B ProfessionalCare 7000 & 8000 Series
Oral-B Vitality

So if you want to help ensure your dental health, I would recommend trying Philips Sonicare UV Sanitizer. If you do, let me know what you think... I look forward to hearing your buzz.
