Shopping on Black Friday

I guess I’ve been living under a rock for 39 years because I’ve only heard the term Black Friday twice. I can’t even remember the first time, but the second time was recently when I was reading a news article about a group of women who rise at about 3:30 a.m. to make it to the stores by 4:30 a.m. on Black Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving and the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year for saving money.

There’s a website where you can buy Black Friday items without standing in line at a store. And unless you live in a year-round warm climate area, this is a really good thing! Whether you use JC Penny coupons, Linens-n-Things or take advantage of Home Depot deals (and many others) for your Christmas presents; you can find everything you need at the Black Friday site.

We all know how busy stores can get during holiday shopping; that’s why I love the Black Friday site – there are popular and well-known major retailers. And, to top it all off, Black Friday offers a notification service: All you have to do is enter your email address and you’ll get a notice when new black friday ads are posted.

Talk about shopping made easy!

Although I normally avoid the busiest shopping days of the year, I may actually shop during Black Friday this year… uh, from my computer! Happy shopping!
